Bellamy Young
Young was a performer when she began her career in the theatre. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the first production of The Life. The actress has performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's music production Merrily we Roll Along (1994) along with Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). [3][10] In 1995, she made her television debut with a role on The NBC daytime soap drama Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. In 1997 and 1998, she appeared as a guest on Law & Order, playing two roles. She debuted in 1999, playing a part in Black and White, a crime drama. Then she appeared in several independent films. Beginning in 2000, Young began appearing as a guest star on a variety of TV dramas and comedy shows like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 to in 2011, Young appeared in more than 30 guest appearances in television programs. Young was among the actors who appeared regularly on Peacemakers the USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. The show was pulled off the air after a season with nine episodes. There were recurring characters in the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami in 2005 through 2006 and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the son-in-law with the most eldest in the Darling Family. From 2011 until 2013, she portrayed Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
