The Swallow's Broadway career began with a number of performances including High Fidelity (as well as King Lear and The Taming of the Shrew), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Guthrie Theater. Off-Broadway productions were Romantic Poetry (as well Shakespeare in the Park) and Measure for Pleasure, which were two world premieres. The film debut of Swallow was 2008 with the war drama The Lucky Ones. Swallow was a co-star with Mark Rylance at the Guthrie Theatre in Louis Jenkins' play Nice Fish. She also starred being in Donald Margulies' play The Country House in Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. Also, she starred in Manhattan Theater Club in John Patrick Shanley's production of the musical Romantic Poetry, which was a world premiere. (citation needed) In the year 2010 in recognition of her performance as Kate In The Taming of the Shrew The Taming of the Shrew, she was awarded an award called the Falstaff Award. Swallow and Jac huberman performed in a Jac N Swallow stage show in New York, at both the Laurie Beeckman Theater & Joe's Pub, on December 4, 2012. The show focuses on the humorous misadventures of the duo when they face very diverse life challenges with varying levels of dignity and sanity. They're developing a show based on the characters. Nice Fish was premiered at the Guthrie Theater in 2013. She was involved in the development of it along with Mark Rylance. In 2016 she portrayed the character in the role of Ayad Akhtar in the show Disgraced, produced by Center Theatre Group. Swallow was cast in Guiding Light for her debut television role. She then appeared on Southland and also Ringer, The Good Wife as well as NCIS. 1] She played an important role in The Mentalist as FBI agent Kim Fischer. In 2015, she portrayed the character Amara in Supernatural's 11th season in the role of "the Darkness". In 2019, she is her character, the Armorer for The Mandalorian in Star Wars and also the head of the Mandalorians of traditional faith. The character's face is not featured in the show as traditionalists are not allowed to take off their helmets in the view of others. This character is increasingly visible in season 3 because the plot concentrates more on the Mandalorian population and not just the Mandalorian
