Niykee has found that her experiences from her past provide an unending source of unexpected inspiration. It's difficult to escape the painful memories of my childhood, and especially the loss of my sister. The memories end up getting incorporated in her music. It shapes my songs and builds this deeper significance behind everything that is one the most important things that I value. It is important to me to realize that I could listen to any of my songs in 20 years from now and still be happy with what I said.
